Located in a quiet area in Bangsar, on Jalan Kaloi, is one of Bangsar’s first condominiums – Bangsar Heights. Bangsar Heights is a low-density residential property (in fact one of the lowest density in Bangsar) with only a total of 197 units sprawled on more than seven acres of freehold land. Bangsar Heights was developed by Integral Property Sdn Bhd and was managed by Integral’s appointed property manager, Meadow Facilities Sdn Bhd. However, in 2009, daily operations of Bangsar Heights was taken over by Henry Butcher Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
Neighboring residential properties include Suasana Bangsar, Bintang Pantai and Bangsar Permai.
Road Links to Bangsar
Bangsar may be reached through major roads and highways. Sprint Highway, Pantai Baru Highway, Federal Highway, Jalan Maarof and Kerinchi Link are all access points of Bangsar. Jalan Maarof, Jalan Bukit Pantai, Jalan Pantai Baharu and Jalan Bangsar all lead to Bangsar Heights. There are also a number of public transportation options to reach Bangsar Heights. Several buses as well as the LRT service the area. In addition to that, the KL Sentral transportation hub is not far away.
The Bangsar Convenience
Bangsar Heights residents are well-endowed when it comes to amenities. Shopping centres, schools, hospitals, restaurants, cafes, pubs, galleries, etc. may be reached on foot or by short drives.
One of the most important, but often taken for granted, considerations in buying a property is its access to hospitals. You wouldn’t know when an emergency is coming after all. But when you live in Bangsar, you need not worry. The Pantai Hospital KL, Univesity Malaya Medical Centre and Ayurvedic Medical Centre are all located in the vicinity.
For your dining pleasure, restaurants abound in Jalan Telawi. Depending on your cravings, you can go to Modesto’s for your Italian fix, Sri Nirvana Maju for South Indian cuisine, Cocoa Restaurant for Thai, Fei-Fei Kopitiam for Malaysian or Bangsar Seafood Garden for Chinese. If you are up for some drinks, try Absolute Chemistry on Jalan Telawi 2 or Devino the Wine Bistro on Jalan Ara.
Who doesn’t love shopping? For your retail therapy, you may opt to go to Mid Valley Megamall or The Gardens Mall. For more options, you may go to Bangsar Shopping Centre or Bangsar Village I & II.
International schools such as Sayfol, Julia Gabriel Centre for Learning, IS Kuala Lumpur, Garden International School (at Mont Kiara), Fairview and Alice Smith are easily accessible to and from Bangsar. Sports enthusiasts need not go far and wide as the Bangsar Sports Complex offers a swimming pool, badminton, squash, basketball and tennis courts to keep you busy.
Living in Bangsar Heights
Living spaces at Bangsar Heights are sized from 916 to 1,300 sqf with two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
And relaxation doesn’t mean you need to go out of the comforts of your home. At Bangsar Heights, residents are afforded the following facilities:
- Round-the-clock security
- Covered carpark
- Swimming pool
- Gym
- Sauna
- BBQ area
- Tennis and squash courts
Money Talk
For a lot of investors, location is the main deciding factor in buying properties. And Bangsar Heights is located in a very strategic location. It is so close to everything you need yet exclusive at the same time, being located in one of Bangsar’s quiet areas.
Depending on the built-up size, a unit at Bangsar Heights would sell from RM550 to RM700 psf. At the time of the posting of this review, asking prices is around RM900,000 for a 1,500 sq ft unit.

These prices are moderate compared to other properties in the area, but remember to factor in other considerations when determining the “fair price” for this property. For example, it can be considered a good investment if you are after the convenience of Bangsar and the exclusivity of Jalan Kaloi. However, it may not be advisable to live in if you have an elderly in the household, as it is located on a small hill. Hello there!
Enjoyed reading your blog.
Was wondering if you could recommend any studios/condos (preferably new) with tight security, situated near bangsar LRT OR near LRTs?
Contemplated on renting 10 semantan suites but was put off by the reviews given by hotel guests with regards to the security issues.
Bangsar? Easy peasy. 🙂 Do check your email.
Hi, I’m interested in renting a place at Bangsar Heights. Please do get in touch with me. Looking for a good rate, 1 year timeline.
Regards.
Hi there,
I have a unit at Bangsar Heights Condo to be rented out. Partially furnished unit on the low floor.
I read your review with much interest.
Currently looking at purchasing a unit in the high tower facing the pool and Suasana.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this 1528sf purchase. Asking price is RM1 million.
Unsure if I’m buying at the ‘right’ time now and if I’m paying an overinflated price. also worried that it would be difficult to rent out given the age.
Thanks in advance!
