Strategic and Exiting Locale
As Penang’s popular hotspot, Gurney Drive is brimming with modern amenities to cater to your whims, needs and demands. Quick access to these establishments is in fact a large part of Gurney Park’s charm and allure as a property investment. Right outside the comforts of home is the Gurney Plaza Shopping Centre where a myriad of retail shops, boutiques, restaurants and cafes are located. Also found within the complex is a cinema for occasional entertainment and a supermarket for the essentials.
More exciting amenities also await at Gurney Paragon, another shopping complex within the Gurney Drive vicinity. Many of these are walking distance from the development which means convenience at its finest. On top of that are hawker centres where many of Penang’s delicacies and sumptuous dishes are sold. Plus there’s a wet market located a few minutes away for more shopping needs.
Residents with children need not go far either. Close to the condominium are several schools including Pulau Tikus Convent, Jalan Kelawie and Phor Tay Private School among others.
Equipped with the Basics
Equipped with its own collection of modern facilities, Gurney Park residents need not leave the comforts of home to keep up with one’s lifestyle. There is a world of hobbies, activities and possibilities that can happen within the development. Exclusive for resident use are basic and essential features like:
> swimming and wading pools
> landscaped garden
> tennis and squash courts
> jogging trails
> children’s playground
Each unit also comes with covered car parking and there’s a management office taking care of any issues, needs or possible complaints that may arise. Ensuring that the perimeter is always safe and sound for peaceful living is the 24-hour security.
As for connectivity, Gurney Park is linked to the rest of Georgetown via Jalan Kelawei and Persiaran Gurney. Connectivity is not really a major selling point for the condominium seeing that it is near the beaches. But it’s not much of a drawback either considering that Gurney Drive is a bustling area full of modern conveniences.
You have to expect traffic congestions though especially during peak seasons and hours. Remember that Gurney Drive is a prime tourist attraction in Penang. That’s both a plus and a drawback depending on how you see. Tourists bring in business and more potential for appreciation but they also cause traffic. Either way, properties within the vicinity are expected to continue appreciating in the coming years.
