With Penang’s breathtaking views and sought-after tourists spots, there are no doubts about the state’s status as a premier address for real estate developments. Even way back in the 90s, developers saw its rapid growth and boundless potential. Banking on those projections is Springfield, otherwise referred Springfield Condominium, which was completed in 1996. It is a condominium project sited on 10 acres of freehold land neighbouring similar developments such as Pearl Garden, Idaman Iris and Acres Ville.

What We Think
Springfield may be old but the well-planed low-rise condominium continues to garner a steady interest among discerning investors. It’s not surprising at all given that the freehold project was able to tick off the right requirements for a good investment. For one, it is strategically located in Sungai Ara, Penang. Another plus is its low density setting affording. The neighbourhood is also embraced by a quiet and peaceful surrounding creating a practical and budget-friendly haven for the middle class.
As much as it has a lot of pluses, there are drawbacks too. One thing that might put off some buyers is the set-up where main doors of units face each other. Such as a layout may compromise privacy which can be a turn off for those who value theirs. Nonetheless, Springfield remains a competitive player in the Sungai Ara vicinity. It’s attractively priced too which is more like a selling point for the development. To know more about it and the property’s fair market value, grab our free ebook guide below.
