Smack right in the middle of the township of Puchong is the Zen Residence, a high rise condominium development sitting on 4.16 acres of leasehold land. The development is right along Jalan Puchong, a less-developed area in the region, where some villages are found within the vicinity. Also found in close proximity are a couple of commercial developments including the Taman Industri Puchong, Bandar Bukit Puchong and Bandar Puteri Commercial Centre.

Meeting Resident Demands
Though Zen Residence, Puchong is Sentral City’s first property development, the units are thoroughly planned to meet today’s modern demands for spaciousness and convenience. Each floor only has 8 units offering a medium density living environment for residents.
A host of Zen-inspired facilities were installed vastly improving the ambience and overall living experience for the residents. There are hot springs for men and women to enjoy as well as a gymnasium, squash courts, swimming and wading pools encouraging an active lifestyle. Other special features within the premises are games room, internet hotspots, sun deck, reflexology path, boardwalk with a gazebo and a convenience store among others.
Modern Conveniences Within Reach
As the development is strategically located in the middle of Puchong, nearby amenities within Klang Valley are incredibly easy to access. Major shopping malls such as IOI Shopping Mall, Mid Valley Megamall, Giant and Tesco Puchong are all a short drive away. Reputable schools also surround the area, the most notable of which are Han Ming (Chinese medium), SK Puchong Utama (national medium) and SK Puchong Batu 14 (national medium). Additionally, a number of commercial centres are just as accessible where banks, cafes, restaurants, clinics and a slew of retail shops are housed.
Connectivity is another aspect that puts Zen Residence in a strategic location. Accessibility to the development and nearby townships are made easy via the following options – North-South Expressway, Federal highway, Damansara-Puchong highway, Kesas highway and Shah Alam highway. Public transport such as taxis and buses further link residents to the rest of Klang Valley.
What We Think
Though the developer, Sentral City, managing Zen Residence is quite new to the industry, the project was surprisingly fairly successful. It was launched in 2008 and completed in December 2011 with a price of about RM330 to Rm367 asking price. Since then, the company has been known for another development which is the Sphere Damansara. It showcases the developer’s signature forward thinking and dynamic designs.
Compared with Koi Tropika, another high rise development within the area, the price is rather expensive for Zen Residence units, but the fantastic facilities and modern design sufficiently compensates for its cost.
